SERPENTCULT Completes Work On Debut Mini-CD

February 19, 2007

SERPENTCULT, the new band featuring former members of THEE PLAGUE OF GENTLEMEN and WELKIN, recently inked a deal with Sweden's I Hate Records for the release of a four-track mini-CD, entitled "Trident Nor Fire". The group has since issued the following update:

"Yes, finally! It took us more time than we expected, but we finally managed to finish the recordings of the additional guitars and vocals, and do the mixing as well. All was set up to finish everything two weeks ago at CCR [studios], but we were not completely happy with the firt mix. Perfectionists as we are (ahum...) we couldn't let this happen, and took our time to have an extra mixing session. Kris did an excellent job, and we're very happy with the result. Ola from I Hate told us the CD is already on its way to the presding plant, so it should be in our hands in the coming weeks. Looking forward!!"
